CellepathicRx Adds Hypertargeted Couponing to its mHealth Solutions for Pharmacies

CellepathicRx, a provider of “HIPAA-compliant, client-branded mHealth solutions,” has announced the addition of hypertargeted retail couponing to its solutions aimed at pharmacies.

The company focuses primarily on mobile messaging solutions aimed at medication adherence, appointment reminders, patient self-reporting and so on — solutions aimed at allowing consumers to have better control over their health and wellness while saving costs for healthcare organizations.  The company leverages a variety of communication channels such as SMS, email, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), QR codes, the mobile Web and mobile apps to deliver relevant messaging to consumers.

CellepathicRx works with Adheris, a provider of medication adherence solutions, and is leveraging its partnership to turn its solutions from a “cost center into a profit center” for pharmacies through the addition of hypertargeted retail couponing.  “We help pharmacies deliver the right message to the right person at the right time, using the multimedia channels they prefer,” said Greg A. Muffler, CEO of CellepathicRx. “Our relationships with industry partners like Adheris give us the unique ability to help pharmacies build loyalty among customers, increase patient adherence to medications, and do so in a cost-effective way.”

There’s already a handful of companies providing relevant, secure messaging solutions for the healthcare industry — most with a focus of providing relevant communication between healthcare organizations and members in an effort to improve health outcomes and save money for the healthcare organization — but adding a second layer of value in terms of helping drive revenue to the healthcare organization in addition to helping save costs is a smart business move.  CellepathicRx’s new couponing solution will help drive front-of-the-store pharmacy traffic with hypertargeted offers and coupons, helping to build store loyalty among patients along the way.  It also provides a first point of contact to introduce the company’s medication adherence and other solutions.
